Life Coaching for Young Women
1-on-1 Coaching to help young women to thrive
It's not easy being a young woman...
Studies, career, friends, peers, romantic partners, work, societal pressures, social media, parents… on top of that, you're trying to discover who you are and find your place in the world.
It’s not easy growing up in the 21st century. But I help young women like you achieve their full potential and live a life of purpose and fulfilment.
My life coaching services are designed to support you through the unique challenges and transitions that come with your current stage of life as a young woman.
Whether you're a stressed student at college or university trying to do it all but are struggling to find balance, are in the workforce but it's not as fulfilling as you thought it would be and you want clarity on what’s next for you, or you’re struggling with self-doubt, anxiety and negative thoughts; I can help.
SHE THRIVES: A life coaching program for young women to thrive
Through my 13-week coaching program, SHE THRIVES, I help young women to become more resilient, emotionally regulated, confident and courageous; to develop self-reliance and awareness of their own superpowers and values, and have a clear vision and plan for the future.
In short, I help young women to step into the best possible version of themselves.
I help them to realise their worth, to find their voice, their strengths and their authentic self. I help them to overcome the limiting beliefs holding them back, to not be so influenced by others, to take accountability for their actions, behaviours and outcomes, and to step into their true power.
"This program has been like a guide for my life, especially when I’m at an age where everything seems big, scary and confusing. It would benefit the mental well-being of those in my age group as we are surrounded by many distractions and stresses that we are expected to navigate by ourselves. Undergoing this program allows young women to feel supported." - Program participant, aged 16.
Who am I?
I’m Janelle Kee-Sue, a certified life coach and accredited cognitive behavioural therapy practitioner based in Wellington, New Zealand, with a passion for helping young women to grow in all aspects of their lives and step into their most empowered selves.
I found being a young woman really hard, and it wasn't until in my mid twenties that I found personal growth and it completely changed my life. That’s why I’m so passionate about helping young women with their growth paths. I want them to realise the power they have inside of them; to better manage their mind and their emotions, and to realise they’re in the driver’s seat of their own life and can achieve anything they want!
My accreditations & certifications
I am a certified Life Coach with the Transformation Academy, an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) Practitioner with the Priority Academy, I have a Certificate in Adolescent Psychological Development from The Career Academy, and I am completing a certificate in advanced counselling and psychology with TCA.
How does coaching work?
My coaching package for young women includes a 1-hour coaching session per week for 13 weeks. We meet online through Google Meet and typically sessions are conducted after school/work on a weekday on the same day and time each week for consistency.
Each week of the coaching program has a different lesson and focus designed for your personal growth and development, including:
✔️ Working out what she wants in life and why.
✔️ What’s most important to her (her unique values).
✔️ How to make decisions with her values in mind (and why that’s important).
✔️ Overcoming the overwhelm and learning how to prioritise.
✔️ Creating a vision for the future (visualisation and mental rehearsal).
✔️ Assessing where she is versus where she wants to be (and how to get there).
✔️ How to set SMART goals and create a goal achievement plan.
✔️ The importance of accountability and taking massive action.
✔️ Uncovering limiting beliefs and what’s holding her back.
✔️ Mindset, identity, thoughts and affirmations.
✔️ Neuroplasticity of the brain and behavioural change (creating healthy habits).
✔️ Tools for overcoming negative thought patterns and emotions.
✔️ How to eliminate excuses and stay motivated.
✔️ The importance of failure and learning from our mistakes.
By the end of our 13 weeks together, you'll have a completely different mindset and outlook on life. Importantly, you'll have the tools, and the confidence, to absolutely thrive!
The program includes:
✔️ 1-hour consultation
✔️ 13x 1-hour 1-on-1 coaching sessions (online or in person)
✔️ Worksheets and resources
✔️ Homework and reflection
✔️ Certificate and letter of completion
“I'd recommend this program for anyone who feels lost or doesn't really know what to do next in life, or someone who doubts themselves and what they can achieve in life.”
- Program participant, aged 27.
